Member of a small team involved in all areas of computing for a large engineering company.

Administration of proprietary and in-house company packages including Financial, Time Recording, Procurement, Staff Recruitment, Manpower Forecasting, Material Control, Computer Asset Tracking, Document Control and E-Mail systems.

Development of Microsoft Access databases, creating interfaces (using ODBC) between the various company systems, and building project-specific solutions including drawing change control, bill of materials and material control systems,
Setting up, developing and administering a full reporting suite (using “Forest & Trees” Reporting Tool and SQL) to cover all aspects of the company business systems.

Lotus Notes Administration and Development, including the setting up of a Staff Recruitment System, covering full workflow from initial staff requisition through to hardware / software / network access requirements on staff appointment, and enhancement of existing Notes systems.
